Habitat ReStores are home improvement stores that accept small and large donations of new or gently used furniture, appliance, housewares, building materials and more! Proceeds from the sales of these items help Habitat's work in your community and around the world! 

Drop-off donations can be made anytime between 10am and 4pm, Tuesday through Saturday.

Volunteer: Habitat for Humanity Construction Crew Leader

Summary: As a crew leader, you are integral to our goals of building more homes and strengthening neighborhoods and communities throughout our service area.

Position: 

Complete hands-on construction tasks including but not limited to, site prep, framing, painting, carpentry, landscaping, and clean up (primarily December through March)Lead a group of volunteers to complete tasks assigned by site supervisor (primarily April through November)Ensure work is completed in a safe mannerHelp with larger community or affiliate build events (i.e. Women Build, Veterans Build, Rock the Block)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

A passion for helping and teaching othersA base knowledge of tools and constructionTeaching and group facilitation skills

Physical requirements necessary to perform this job:

Ability to be on one's feet for extended periods of time, often on rough and uneven terrainAbility to life at least 50 lbs on occasionAbility to work on ladders and heights of up to 2-stories on occasionAbility to work in varying weather conditions - sites aren't always heated during winter or air-conditioned during summer
