Volunteer: Walk rescue dogs at our facility! We are constantly looking for more volunteers to take a little bit of time out of their day to help us get our resident dogs out of their kennels, go on walks, and play/socialize in our indoor play yard! Our facility typically houses 5 dogs at a time until we can move them into foster homes. Once we find foster homes for our pooches, they move out and more move in! We are there from 8am-11am every morning and 5pm-8pm every night. Volunteers do not have to do the whole shift. We require a commitment of 2 shifts per month. After completing 2 initial shifts at our facility, you will have the opportunity to take a dog out into the community on a field trip. Field trips give us great insight to our dogs outside of the shelter environment, and allow us to use that to find the right forever home for them!
PLEASE NOTE: At this time we're not accepting community service hours.
