Volunteer: Board Member

The Illinois Conservatory for the Arts is seeking dedicated, arts-focused individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a board member, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the future of our organization and helping us achieve our mission of providing high-level arts programming alongside rigorous academic education for students in the Western suburbs of Chicago.

Responsibilities Include:

Attending quarterly board meetings to weigh in on key strategic decisions.Collaborating with the Executive Director to set and execute personal impact goals.Participating in board committees or task forces such as Finance, Governance, and Curriculum.Supporting fundraising initiatives, with a commitment to raise or contribute $5,000 annually through donations and event support.Offering insights and making connections to drive organizational growth.

Join us as we continue building the premier arts school of the suburbs, expanding from 9 to 15 board members and supporting a goal to reach 250 students by 2024.

Board Member Commitment:

Two-year term.Passion for arts education and belief in our mission.Ability to contribute personal and professional expertise.
