Opportunities From: Giving DuPage

Send an email to events@osotamerica.org to receive the most current list of needs for us to send our Comfort & Care Packages overseas to deployed Troops! We have shipped over 2.3 million pounds since 2003!

If you love parades this is the volunteer job for you! Coordinate all details and planning of parades Operation Support Our Troops-America would like to participate in during 2026. We will work with you to explain all the details and what is involved and ensure you have everything you need. This is a great project to show your patriotic spirit! Tasks may include but are not limited to: coordination of volunteers, contacting local recruiters for Military involvement and other logistics planning. Anyone over the age of 13 can volunteer with adult supervision. We call on individuals and groups to help in our warehouse, at events, or any number of different opportunities.  For more details on becoming a member, contact us for information!

Do you have bead kit leftovers, paracord bracelet or keychain kits or something similar that the troops might enjoy crafting with in their down time? 

Having something different to do can be a real morale booster! Clean out that craft closet and send a smile!

Sewing Neck Coolers for the Troops

Email us for simple instructions for Neck Coolers that we include in care packages shipped overseas to our deployed service members! Then drop them off to us in our local warehouse. What a great opportunity to give back! We send over 2000 care packages each year.
