Key responsibilities: Research grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government sources through online sourcesEvaluate eligibility criteria and funding priorities to determine strong matchesGather information from staff and organizational documentsDraft, edit, and format grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting materialsMaintain a calendar of deadlines, submission dates, and reporting requirementsTrack submitted proposals and outcomesEnsure all written content reflects the organization's mission, voice and goalsSkills & Qualifications Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilitiesResearch skills and comfort navigating databases, websites, and public recordsAbility to summarize information and present it clearlyAttention to detailAbility to work independentlyInterest in nonprofit work, community impact, or fundraisingPrior grant writing experience is helpful but not requiredTime commitment Flexible depending on availability, this volunteer role can be done remotely with a few hours a week, or what you are able to volunteer.
