Volunteer: Volunteers Needed for our DEAR Patients :)Do you play any music? Like to socialize and put a smile on someones face? Well, come join our team! Apex Hospice is a smaller, family oriented Hospice with patients all throughout the Chicago land area/suburbs. Please know that just because someone is receiving Hospice services, this does not always mean that they are actively dying! You will NEVER do anything clinical! If you like to watch TV, look at magazines, converse, play an instrument, sit quietly while the patient is resting (YES this is also very important!), etc. WELL, WE NEED YOU!! If you can visit a patient at least 2 times a month, whether if it's for 15 minutes to 1 hour....we would (as would our wonderful patients) be so HAPPY! :) I thrive to make this a good experience for our Volunteers! You are a vital member of our team! Oh and if you would rather assist us in the office, WELCOME! We can always use the extra help! :) Thank you!
