Volunteer: Website/Social Media ManagerAn ideal candidate for this role would have experience in managing a website changes and updates using Weebly. Our hope for role is to have someone help with website functionality that we are trying to add or change. For example, adding CAPTCHA to forms, setting up automated responses, improving website SEO, and help with being more efficient with our social media messaging. We estimate the role would take zero hours some weeks and 2-4 hours (at the most) on weeks when we are making technical modifications. Our website is completely operational and meets most of our needs, we require help for small changes and integration of marketing projects. We currently have a college intern helping in this area who is a Communications major. He is very creative, possesses graphic art skills and some technical skills. He is a quick learner and is a joy to work with. Volunteer: Grant researcher and grant writerThis position will help with finding granting foundations who have an interest in the connection of faith and health and improvement of spiritual, mental and physical health and reduction of disease in congregations and cities. We hope you'll enjoy working with our fun and passionate team of volunteers at Living Abundantly Ministries! This person will research grant opportunities and network with organizations who offer grants that are a match with the strengths of the Come Alive! Program: 1) using research based experiential protocols, 2) track record of positive behavior change in participants, and 3) collect ongoing data base of participant improvement. Applicants will research funding opportunities, organizations and write grants to apply for funding to improve the wellbeing (spiritual, mental and physical) of our population. This position will be volunteer at the outset, but could evolve into a fee per project basis. Our 8 session small group study is an ecumenical Christian program and it is open to all. A person interested in growing in their faith, learning new things about wellbeing and sharing their wisdom and faith with our team would have a fulfilling experience in this position.
