Fetching Tails Foundation

Fetching Tails Foundation is a 501c3 Illinois-based non-breed specific rescue committed to saving dogs regardless of breed, age, and physical ability. Our foundation is committed to lowering euthanasia rates by rescuing adoptable dogs from high kill shelters and other animal intake facilities and placing them in approved adopted homes. We are dedicated to helping our community through educational programs and combined efforts for spay & neuter clinics.

Fetching Tails Foundation is an all-volunteer animal rescue that saves dogs of all breeds, ages, and medical condition from high intake shelters in Chicago and throughout the state. Our organization is dependent on volunteers to save lives: our volunteer team fosters dogs in their homes until they are adopted, walk and socialize dogs who are temporarily housed at our facility in Wood Dale, handle dogs at adoption shows, plan and execute fundraising events throughout the suburbs, and much more. In addition to saving dogs in need, we believe in educating our community about responsible pet care and providing assistance to pet owners who need help.
