Who We Are

Since 1911, the Naperville YMCA has served the communties of Naperville, Aurora and Lisle. The Naperville Ys are a destination where local children and families have the opportunity to discover who they are through:

Youth Development

At the Y, children learn values and positive behaviors, explore unique talents and interest that help them realize their potential. through quality preschool, before and after school programs and summer day camp, the Y makes for confident kids today and contributing, engaged adults tomorrow.

Healthy Living

With our mission centered on life lived in balance, the Y brings families closer together by encouraging good health and nutrition through fitness, sports, fun and shared interests. An example of this is Healthy Kids Day that introduces families to exercise, activities and making helathy choices while keeping up with today's busy lifestyles.

Social Responsibility

Giving back and providing support to our Naperville area community is a high priority at the YMCA. the generosity of our donors is the core of helping those in need. Through the support of our more than 100 volunteers and donors, we are able to provide programs to area low income families at a reduced cost.

What We Do

The Y is one of the nation's leading nonprofits strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Across the U.S., 2,700 Y's engage 21 million men, women and children- regardless of age, income or background- to nurture the potential of children and teens, improve the nation's health and well being, and provide opportunities to give back and support neighbors.

In the Naperville area the YMCA serves more than 25,000 people annually and provides more than $400,000 in scholarships for kids and families in need.
