Who We Are

UCCA provides food, referrals, and services to Elmhurst District 205’s most financially disadvantaged children and their families in an effort to fight hunger. Ours is a “neighbors helping neighbors” approach, driven by volunteers and powered by a generous community and dedicated partners.

This past year UCCA provided over $191,177 in food and food gift certificates to almost 275 families and 80 seniors in our Elmhurst community.

What We Do

The United Community Concerns Association (UCCA) is an Elmhurst based, 100% volunteer, 501(C)3 organization working to fight hunger in our Elmhurst community. UCCA has been providing food to Elmhurst District 205 school children and their families since 1978. The board consists of business people, social workers, teachers, and community members who bring important perspectives to UCCA's mission of providing food, referrals, and services to Elmhurst District 205’s most financially disadvantaged children and their families. UCCA takes great pride in the fact that over 98% of all funds collected go to feed those in need in our own community.
