The American Cancer Society Relay For Life movement is the world’s largest fundraising event to save lives from cancer. Funds raised directly support the Society’s mission to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer. Last year, Relay For Life participants helped to raise more than $279 million, allowing us to continue our lifesaving work:
• Investing in groundbreaking cancer research
• Providing free, comprehensive information and support to those touched by cancer when and where they need it.
• Helping people take steps to fight cancer, reduce their cancer risk, or find it early when it’s most treatable.
• Fighting for laws and policies that will make cancer a top national priority.
The Relay For Life of Carol Stream is a community festival with music, family activities, food & fellowship. Cancer survivors are invited for a catered dinner and to kick off the event's opening lap.
