Gentiva Hospice is holding an open door walk-in interview event where you can ask questions, find out what different volunteers do, and interview on-the-spot to be a volunteer (if you decide you want to).
We are looking for:
- patient volunteers
- veteran volunteers (veteran-to-veteran)
- pet therapy volunteers (with correct documentation)
- office volunteers
- music volunteers

Make a difference in the lives of patients!
Everyone welcome. Must be 18+, pass a drug test, background check, fingerprinting, and physical. If seeing patients you need a valid driver's license and current car insurance. Full training provided. Volunteer Coordinator will meet you at first visit to introduce you to your patient and show you how to fill out the volunteer visit note. Ongoing education provided. We are very flexible with times and how often you visit. Visit supplies and activities are provided. You can volunteer close to where you live or work. TB test in the last year required (we also give them for free). All questions okay!
