Want to make a difference NOW?Naperville Preservation Inc. is seeking volunteers to help with managing social media. The goal of this position is to grow NPI’s audience to educate and inform the Naperville government and community and to inspire support for our cause!
Naperville Preservation (NPI) is a grassroots 501c3 non-profit dedicated to promoting historic preservation in Naperville since 2017.
This is a great volunteer opportunity for anyone interested in our mission. Students in the fields of architecture, history, digital media, social media marketing, and communications are encouraged to apply.
This volunteer will
Create and publish content on Facebook and Instagram about NPI events and viewpoints
Suggest and implement improvements to the NPI Facebook page and its use
Evaluate and make recommendations for creating a LinkedIn page
Interact with NPI board members and volunteers to collect information for creating content
Attend NPI meetings, both virtual and in-person, as needed, depending on availability
Knowledge and skills
Experience creating and publishing content on Facebook and Instagram
Ability to write persuasively and concisely
Simple graphic design skills on Canva, etc. and/or photography and photo editing would be helpful
