Board of Directors Position Description
I Support Community (ISC) dba Inside Out Club DuPage (IOCD) started in September 2012 after seeing the overwhelming need for children to possess a strong foundation in character and community. Our mission is to develop kids with character inside and out. We provide children and their families with opportunities to build and practice social and emotional skills, and to volunteer through the Inside Out Club (IOC) program:
There are four Inside Out Club opportunities:
- In Schools – for students in grades K-5
- On Weekends – for kids 3-12 and their families together
- @Home – online platform for kids and families
- Through Community – opportunities with local organizations
IOC is designed to engage kids and families in as many of these four opportunities as possible as they practice character skills and volunteer. Working with teachers, volunteers, parents, school administrators and outside organizations, the Inside Out Club is positively impacting more than 1,400 students and their families. IOC focuses on DuPage County and its needs.
