Presented in partnership by Wheaton Park District and the FT Cares Foundation. The FT Cares Light the Torch 5K Night Run/Walk is a unique race event through downtown Wheaton after sunset. Participants receive glow giveaways and race through luminary lanes. Pre-race street party includes food trucks, DJ and light-up giveaways. Post-race party at Kilwins Wheaton.
Volunteers are needed to help serve refreshments, cheer on and guide runners along the course. Kids welcome to volunteer with an adult. Great opportunity for Key Club, National Honor Society and Scouts!
Each volunteer receives a race shirt, light-up novelty and dinner the night of the event.
