What We Do
The League has been a non-partisan force in American politics. Our main efforts include:
-
register voters, especially working with high schools to provide voter registration information and voter registration boxes
-
host candidate forums & debates so voters can meet and hear from candidates before voting
-
work to ensure every citizen's right to vote and have their vote counted
-
educate people on issues affecting our democracy and communities by hosting educational programs
Each League also hosts their own additional programs such as volunteer activities, fundraiser events or book/film clubs. Check this page often for new events, volunteer activities and in-kind donation needs by the 4 DuPage Leagues.
