New Community Ministries (Food Thing Network)

Everyone who participates in our distribution is part of our team. Members work together to pick up donations and fairly distribute within the group. This co-op model respects the dignity of each person, who contributes. We believe in providing a hand-up rather than a hand out. 

FoodThing network is a non-profit mobile food co-op that supplies fresh, and organic food to the community. We have distributions weekly in four locations across Naperville, Aurora, and Lombard.  Food Thing Network is a unique, empowering, low budget, sustainable, healthy food bank and is a viable alternative to traditional food banks. We provide healthy, mostly organic food for hundreds of people, once a week, throughout the year. We are ourselves a family of sorts. FoodThing is committed to equality, and a sense of community.
