Who We Are

The Western Suburbs Giving Circle (WSGC) of the Chicago Foundation for Women is a group of Chicago-area women who combine their funds to address the needs of women and girls in the western suburbs with a special focus on women's health and reproductive justice, economic security and freedom from violence.

The Chicago Foundation for Women has multiple Giving Circles throughout metro Chicago.  Since its founding, CFW has invested more than $45 million in hundreds of organizations, leveraging the generosity of 2,200 donors, impacting over 226,000 women, girls, trans, and gender nonbinary individuals in our region.  Learn more at www.cfw.org.

What We Do

Since 2016, WSGC has awarded over $225,000 to local organizations centered on the needs of women and girls. We are a group of women who combine our funds to leverage the power of collective gifts to nonprofits in the western suburbs. As part of a nationwide wave of women’s philanthropy, we focus on amplifying women’s voices and advocating for women’s need with grants which create meaningful impact and improve lives.
