Who We Are
At Kids Above All, we place the safety, well-being and education of kids above everything else.
We exist to be the forward momentum behind our kids, and believe:
- All children deserve the same opportunity to reach their full potential.
- In treating the kids in our care as if they were our own.
- There's nothing you can't do with energy and passion behind you.
- No achievement is too small to get a rise out of us
- You never count someone out.
- In being humble, resilient and proud.
What We Do
Since 1894, Kids Above All's mission has been to protect, heal and educate children and families so they can build better lives.
In our 127 years, Kids Above All has helped more than 150,000 children and families in Cook, DuPage, Kane and Lake counties to have the best life possible. Our services include early childhood education, foster care and adoption, housing for teens and homeless young adults, and counseling.
In DuPage County, Kids Above All operates three group homes for teenagers ages 12-18, who have been removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect. Once in Kids Above All's care, they receive the support they need to finish high school, therapy to heal from trauma, and life skills training so they can become independent adults.
