Who We Are
Since 1996, Career & Networking Center has provided a supportive and professional setting where individuals can conduct a productive and successful job search, receive career-enhancing, professional development advice, and build their professional network. CNC has helped thousands of unemployed and underemployed individuals get back to work.
Under the umbrella of the, “Empower the Job Seeker” program, the Center works with job seekers to develop and execute a plan to find employment (or a better job) needed for greater financial stability and self-sufficiency. An expert group of human resource and other business professionals are available for individual consultation to assist individuals in setting reasonable goals and implementing strategies that meet their specific needs. Perhaps, one of the unique features of the Center is coaching conversation appointments. These include general career consultation, brand development, career exploration, interviewing skills, job search strategy, networking, and resume writing. Other resources include accountability groups, networking groups, assessments, outplacement services, and workshop webinars. Programs and services are available without geographic restrictions.
What We Do

- Career coaches’ help you explore careers; discuss the best job search strategies to use; practice interviewing skills; review your resume; discuss networking strategies and
branding and more.
- Skill-based and confidence-building workshops help individuals grow professionally; learning new skills that can be used during their job search and in future work-related
situations.
- Job Club, monthly webinar "Q & A with Human Resources", and our LinkedIn Webinar provide an opportunity to network with others and learn new strategies. These groups are open to all individuals in job search, without membership requirements.
