Illinois Miss Amazing has as its mission celebrating the abilities of girls and women with disabilities and providing opportunities for them to build self-confidence in a supportive environment. To work towards accomplishing this mission, Illinois Miss Amazing holds an annual event open to girls and women with disabilities ages five and older. This year's event will be held in April 2017 at the Naperville Yellowbox.
Miss Amazing, Inc. is a national non-profit organization begun in Nebraska in 2007. Since its founding, Miss Amazing has expanded to nearly 30 states and has donated around $50,000 and 1,000 pounds of food to community organizations nationwide. Illinois Miss Amazing has now been making an impact on the community for three years.
