Who We Are
Candor Health Education (formerly Robert Crown Center) has been a leader and innovator in the health education field for half a century. Six million students have learned from our science-based programs about puberty, human reproduction and drug and alcohol abuse prevention. We reach nearly 80,000 young people from ten Illinois counties each year. Our vast experience and knowledge makes us the premier health education resource center in the region and now we have designed fully virtual learning so schools can choose which format works the best for their schedule.
What We Do
Our name has changed but the mission remains the same - to positively impact the physical, social and emotional health of youth through innovative education programs in partnership with parents, schools and communities. Our vision is that the youth in our communities possess the knowledge, attitudes and skills to make decisions that positively impact their physical and mental health throughout their lives.
