Who We Are
FMSC produces 3 dried, fortified meal formulas addressing the world’s main hunger needs. Each culturally-neutral meal packet contains 6 - 12 servings, depending on the food formula.
Volunteers hand-pack all of our fortified meals. FMSC packs meals at three permanent Chicago area sites, Aurora, Schaumburg and Libertyville in 2 hour shifts.
The minimum age for volunteering is 5 years old. Children under 5 are not allowed in packing areas (sorry, no exceptions).
If your group includes youth, you must follow our Age Requirements:
- Kindergarten-2 grade: 1 adult per 1 student
- 3-6 grade: 1 adult per 3 students
- 7-9 grade: 1 adult per 4 students
- 10-12 grade: 1 adult per 5 students
FMSC also packs meals a MobilePack events around the DuPage County Area. To find a mobilePack opportunity and schedule, go to:

What We Do
Founded in 1987, Feed My Starving Children is a Christian nonprofit that provides nutritionally complete meals for starving, malnourished and hungry people. The prepackaged dry meals –costing less than a quarter each to make – are funded and assembled by donor-volunteers in the United States. Our in-country partners use the food to prevent starvation and curb malnourishment in children and families worldwide. Since it's inception, FMSC has produced and shipped 2.1 Billion nutritious meals that has reached children in more than 70 countries.
