Who We Are

Naperville Evening Kiwanis members annually provide over 10,000 volunteer hours to 30 community service projects, donate nearly $40,000 annually to more than 15 nonprofit community organizations, and support one middle school Builders club, two high school Key Clubs, one collegiate Circle K Club.  The Naperville Evening Kiwanis club is rich with a history of service which has a focus on children and youth.  It continues to strive today to give "hands-on" help to the community throughout DuPage county.  It has a reputation of being the "grunt workers" of area service organizations.  That is part of the culture of the club.  Members cut grass, mulch trees, paint, cut wood, stuff envelopes, clean up roads, deliver meals and books, pick up and sort food, shuttle and otherwise assist Edward patients within the hospital, assist at Special Olympics and sing along with residents of retirement communities and nursing homes.  Members serve because they care and have a desire to "give back" to the community.

What We Do

The Naperville Evening Kiwanis Club was built upon a Midwestern foundation, with positive values and a constant striving for excellent community service.  It was founded in 1955, with 28 members.  Today, the club has approximately 90 members and is comprised of professionals both retired and still active in the work force who offer their experience, knowledge, time and talents to the community.
