Who We Are

Loyola Medicine Hospice provides quality care for individuals diagnosed with a life-limiting illness and helps families through this difficult time. Our interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, social workers, health aides, chaplains, counselors, and trained volunteers works together to provide comfort and care with an emphasis on quality of life.

What We Do

Volunteers are an important part of hospice care. They provide a listening ear and companionship. They provide support to hospice clients and/or agency in a variety of ways including, but not limited to: office administration, respite care, household chores, companion care, and errands.

Our next hospice training class will be Thursday, May 24, and Friday, May 25. Volunteers must pass a background check and a medical screening. They must be willing to get vaccinated for influenza.
