The GardenWorks Project has partnered with Walnut Grove Vocational Farm, a program of DeKalb County Community Gardens, to offer locally-grown, organic vegetable and herb seedlings that give back to our community. By supporting our Spring Seedling Sale, you also support GardenWorks’ mission of ending hunger in the community by teaching local families and communities how to grow fresh vegetables and facilitate fresh produce donations to local food pantries - fighting food insecurity one garden at a time.
The Spring Seedling Sale is held at the DuPage County Fairgrounds, with an online pre-sale available now on our website. For every plant purchased, three plants are donated to local families and organizations who are experiencing food insecurity in DuPage County, helping families in the community achieve better access to fresh, healthy foods.
