Designed to raise awareness about autism, a complex developmental disability that affects an estimated 1.5 million Americans, the Step Up for Autism walk was the first of its kind to be held in Naperville. In six years, the Step Up for Autism Walk has welcomed thousands of walkers, runners and families along Naperville's famed Riverwalk and has raised more than $450K to benefit the programs and services provided by Little Friends.
This family-friendly event promises to be fun for walkers of all ages. Festivities will include a one-mile family-friendly route, a fun-filled Kids' Area, complete with tattoos, crafts, moon jumps, and live entertainment--and new this year, food vendors!
