SD Protectors Restoreday!

Hey there Protectors! We will be meeting at the Sustain DuPage Victory Garden (on the Theosophical Society grounds in Wheaton) for a workday at our new site. We will be cutting down buckthorn for processing into what our Gardeners have named "splits". These and other materials will be used to build raised beds in the spring. The Buckthorn stumps will be treated WITHOUT herbicide as part of our project to restore native wildlife in our woodland. Wear clothes that can be muddied and are weather appropriate. Join us with a friend for camaraderie and vegan snack provided afterwards. Tentative date - Overnight snow cancels - RSVP requested
