The GEBYBBQ will welcome amateur BBQ enthusiasts to compete in the categories of Best Ribs, Best Chicken, Best Dish, and Best Sauce. After you have some delicious BBQ from one of our vendors, walk on over to the competition to vote for your favorite BBQ sauce from our competitors and get tips from the home-chef pros.
Plenty of great vendors, including Dan’s Foods, Steamboat BBQ, Kissed by Fire, Savory Crust, and Famous Dave’s BBQ, will be there offering various kinds of BBQ, burgers, hot dogs, Nothin’ Bundt Cakes, Two Brothers Brewing cold beer and more. There will be activities for the entire family, including Piglet Playland with host Mary Macaroni, children’s enthusiast, along with mural painting, bounce houses, and delicious treats for the kids. And some of the best bands in the area, including Ralph Covert of The Bad Examples, Panic at the Costco, and more.
The GEBYBBQ is open to the public from 2:00pm – 9:30pm on Saturday, September 9th and is located in a new location at the Metra Parking Lot at Lorraine/Duane Avenues (just west of the Glen Ellyn Public Library) in downtown Glen Ellyn.
