you like the idea of adapting old buildings to creative, new uses, and
avoiding greenhouse gasses from new construction?
Want to make a
difference NOW? Naperville Preservation Inc. is seeking volunteers to
help with managing social media. The goal of this position is to grow
NPI’s audience to educate and inform the Naperville government and
community and to inspire support for our cause!
Naperville
Preservation (NPI) is a grassroots 501c3 non-profit dedicated to
promoting historic preservation in Naperville since 2017.
This is
a great volunteer opportunity for anyone interested in our mission.
Students, especially in the fields of architecture, history, digital
media, social media marketing, and communications, are encouraged to
apply.
This volunteer will
- Create and publish content on Facebook and Instagram
- Work under the regular guidance of a NPI board member and volunteers, who will provide direction and information to post
- Attend virtual meetings as needed, depending on availability
Knowledge and skills needed:
- Basic experience creating and publishing content on Facebook and Instagram
- Ability to work as team with others
