Earth Week is a time to reflect on our relationships to Mother Nature and join together in serving local ecosystems. What better way is there to connect with fellow community members and spend a day cherishing nature than coming to Lyman Woods and helping us reinvigorate the trails and garden spaces for all to enjoy Earth's gifts?
Join in on April 26th to commune with fellow neighbors of Lyman Woods Forest Preserve and help spruce up this precious community space! You will be engaged in hands-on work mulching the trails and gardens, brush cutting, and removing litter.
Come prepared to be outside and get a little dirty! Closed-toed, sturdy shoes, long sleeves and pants, water bottles, sunscreen, and bug spray are all recommended. We will provide all tools, gloves, and materials for the event.
All volunteers will need to sign the 2026 liability waiver. Participants under 18 years of age will need a parent/guardian signature on their waiver.
