Almost Home Kids is on 2.5 acres of land and we consistently need volunteers that are interested in lending a hand with yard/garden work. From garden clean up & weeding to watering plants - we need your help! We are looking for small groups to volunteer for a few hours to help clean up the gardens. You can also volunteer on your own 1-2 days a week to help us with watering plants from May-September. Please email the Community Outreach Coordinator from our website. Outside projects occur between the months of May & September.
UPDATE: Due to COVID-19 restrictions... we are screening volunteers that are interested in doing outside garden weeding for us. There is definitely still a need to keep our gardens looking nice so email Lisa Snow if you are interested in giving us an hour or two doing garden clean up. Lsnow@almoshomekids.org
