NAMI DuPage, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, has been providing support, education, and advocacy for those with a mental health diagnosis and their families for over 30 years. We have a Supported Employment program that provides meaningful employment for our participants with opportunities to gain experience by volunteering.
We are looking for professionals to provide light-touch job coaching, such as resume review/creation, interview skills/practice, teaching job search strategies, etc.
This position can be done over Zoom, phone, or in-person. Depending on how many clients you would like to work with will determine how many volunteers hours. Typical time spent with individual clients is approximately one hour a week.
