We are pleased to offer the job opportunity of Grant and Development Specialist. The Grant and Development Specialist is a valuable asset to our organization. The position supports our team of program and administrative leaders to increase revenue through program fees, foundation grants, government grants and philanthropic gifts, so that DuPage Federation’s activities result in a strong human service system in DuPage county and the region.
Job type: Full-time at 37.5 hours per week

Salary range: $44,063-$54,375 a year

Essential Functions
Grant Development and Maintenance
- Identifies prospective funders, cultivates and manages current partnerships, performs prospect research, and develops and maintains funder prospect list
- Researches, identifies and pursues grant opportunities
- Drafts grant proposals and submits to public, private, and corporate funding sources
- Develops, and maintains grant-tracking database and other relevant tracking systems
- Generates, maintains and reports on donation and grant funding records
- Maintains records and coordinates the writing and submission of grant reports
Program Fee Development and Maintenance
- Supports program directors’ efforts to acquire new fee-paying customers
Team Collaboration
- Coordinates, supports and contributes to the revenue team
- Coordinates, supports and contributes to the development and maintenance of DuPage Federation’s revenue plan
- Supports and contributes to the annual planning and budgeting team
- Coordinates, supports and contributes to DuPage Federation’s equity and inclusion strategy

Education and Experience:
- Associate’s degree (bachelor’s degree preferred)
- 2-4 years of relevant experience (grant writing experience preferred)
- Experience with data systems and/or grants-management software (preferred)
