Making Strides 2023 will be here before you know it- and we need your help!
Most Roles run from 7:00am-11:00am and we have lost of opportunity for groups (ie. co-workers, cheer teams, boy or girl scout troops, etc)!
We need help at every phase of the event, from setup to cleanup, we need volunteers to help. Below are a sample of roles we are needing to fill:
- CHECK-IN: Help participants and volunteers check in at the event. May require pre-event training.
- REFRESHMENT STATIONS: Set up and distribute snacks and water to walkers.
- WATER STATIONS: Distribute water to walkers along the route.
- GREETERS/CHEERERS: Greet walkers and lead them to check-in. Cheer on walkers and provide directions.
- SURVIVORS TENT: Assist in greeting cancer survivors.
- TRIBUTE AREA: Assist participants in a tribute to honor and remember those touched by breast cancer.
- SETUP/CLEANUP: May involve heavy lifting, moving, and loading.
