Have you ever wondered what it was like farming in the 1800s? Help us share this preserve's history by facilitating some old-fashioned fun and help the community learn about the significance of agriculture in Will County — both past and present! We are looking for volunteers to distribute information, act as building docents, offer refreshments, and help host presenters. If you are interested in helping please complete a volunteer waiver at: https://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/ap?AP=1561860385 and in the OPPORTUNITY box type "Farmstead Frolic." More information about the event can be found at: https://www.reconnectwithnature.org/news-events/event-calendar/farmyard-frolic/
