The community is invited to visit the Riverview Farmstead on Saturday, Sept. 16, for some old-fashioned fun and learn about life on the farm in the 1800s. There will be tours of the limestone house and barns, farmyard animal meet & greet, and farmstead chore challenges. Tractors and antique farm equipment will also be on hand for up close and personal exploration.
The farm will be decorated for fall with plenty of photo opportunities, have a barnyard-themed bounce house, make-and-take craft stations, and other fun activities for all ages. Smokin’ Z BBQ(Opens in a new window) will be on-site to provide some delicious lunch options, and Tapville Social(Opens in a new window) will be serving up cold brews.
Volunteers are needed at all of these stations to assist visitors. If you would like to donate your time, please complete this online form and let us know what area would best match your skill set.
