Prairie Seed Harvest - Oct 14, 10am
Fermilab and FNA will be hosting our annual seed harvest on October 14 from 10 am to 2 pm. The event will be based out of the Lederman Science Center parking lot. Registration is required and limited to 130 people. A link to register is below. A Real ID compliant ID is required to enter the lab for those 18 and over. ( REALID-Documents.pdf )
We look forward to seeing everyone and enjoying time in the prairie. Please bring gloves, paper bags to collect seed, and hand clippers. If you don’t have those items, we can provide them at the event for your use.
All participants must sign a release and waiver of liability on the day of the seed harvest before participating in the event.
We appreciate all the help! This event helps to redistribute native seed in our natural areas to promote plant diversity and overall ecological health.
