Gentiva Hospice is looking for people who are interested in volunteering their time for one hour on three separate days (three hours total per month) sitting with one of our hospice patients and talking with him/her and/or sharing a skill or talent that you have and/or just hanging out and doing whatever else makes you both happy.
Lonely and tired seniors need attention and companionship from you.
Will you answer the call?
full training provided to everyone. volunteer near where you live or work even though our office is in Oak Brook. must be able to pass drug test, background check, and be fingerprinted. get as much help as you need. meet great people. make a difference.
