Gentiva Hospice is looking for veterans who will volunteer for veterans who have a terminal illness and are probably in their last year of life. Vets understand other vets...that is why we are creating a taskforce to plan, set up for, and lead veteran pinning ceremonies where we thank veterans for their service and give them a pin, a certificate, cake/beverage, and allow all vets present to tell their story. The veterans who are pinned are so grateful; the pinnings mean a lot to them.

Also be paired up with one veteran you will be a friend to. Visit your veteran patient and spend time together, We have lots of ideas on what to do.

Full training provided. Must pass drug test & background check & fingerprinting. Pin veterans at the facilities and homes where they live. All military branches welcome. All questions answered.
