If yes, consider being a hospice volunteer.

We are looking for  kind and compassionate individuals who are able to spend one hour (three times per month) hanging out with a someone who lives in a nursing home, memory care center, or assisted living facility. Volunteer when you want at times that are good for you. Full training is provided.  Volunteer Coordinator will meet you at the first visit and introduce you to your patient. You will have one patient whom you will visit.

Talk, play cards, read out loud, look at pictures, listen to music, play music, play an instrument, sing, watch TV/movies, pray, play games, do crossword puzzles or word searches or a jigsaw puzzle, whatever else you want to do with your patient that you think she or he would like. Share your talent or passion!

Must be able to 

  • pass drug test [we no longer test for marijuana]
  • pass background check 
  • pass fingerprint scan 
  • Have had a TB test in last year 
  • pass a physical 
  • be at least 18

We can work with just about any schedule so if you've ever thought about volunteering give us a call.
