Who We Are

Welcome to America! Pack Program

Prepare a home for a refugee family. Set up their first apartment with a one month's supply of food staples and all of the household items needed for the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. A great opportunity for families, small groups, youth programs and entire congregations.

New Neighbor Program

Spend time with a refugee who is new to your community. Visit once a week for three months with newly arrived refugees to ease their loneliness, introduce them to their new neighborhood, and answer basic questions about life in the United States.

New Neighbor Citizenship Program

Help refugees and immigrants become citizens. Meet once a week with a newcomer who is applying for citizenship to practice English, learn about American history and civics, and prepare for the citizenship exam. Training and study materials provided.

New Neighbor Conversations

The New Neighbor Conversations program connects refugees with native English speakers to improve refugees' conversational abilities and to build relationships in the process.

Care Packs

Care Packs provide household necessities that help refugees as they begin the rebuild their lives.

Learn More

We offer a wide selection of different resources to help you or your group learn more about providing hospitality to refugees - everything from a six week Bible study for individuals or groups to a refugee camp simulation activity led by our dynamic presenters.

What We Do

Exodus World Service mobilizes the Christian community to welcome refugees. We do this by educating churches about refugee ministry, connecting volunteers with newly arriving refugees through practical service projects, and equipping leaders to advocate on behalf of refugees.
