WDSRA offers sports, Special Olympics, dance and art programs, music programs, camps, trips, special events, Lekotek purposeful play programs, Synergy Adaptive Athletics, disability awareness and community education, and more! 

Our mission is the development of children, teens and adults with special needs through recreation! We offer engaging community-based social and recreation programs as well as inclusion services for participation in member park district programs. Through our programs individuals get the opportunity to grow personally, connect with their community and discover their potential. Our vision: Opening a World of Untapped Potential and a Lifetime of Possibilities!

WDSRA is an award winning organization and a cooperative extension of nine park districts serving the communities of Bloomingdale, Carol Stream, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Roselle, Warrenville, West Chicago, Wheaton, and Winfield.
