Residential Hospice

As the Volunteer Coordinator, I am looking for individuals who will volunteer for our hospice patients, providing them with companionship and a supportive presence. Visits are so incredibly important, as our patients need the extra human interaction from someone who will sit with them and dedicate time to them.

Hospice is a philosophy of care focused on optimizing quality of life, comfort, and dignity for patients during their end of life stage. We make up of a team consisting of Nurses, Social Workers, Chaplains, Aides, and a Bereavement and Volunteer Coordinator, who's goal is to make the patient and family as supported as possible throughout their loved one's hospice journey. We are about comfort and support, rather then aggressive treatment at the end of life.
