I am looking for individuals who are willing to volunteer their time to those in need of some companionship, and a supportive presence. Our patients are on hospice, dealing with those are terminally ill and dying, must be something the volunteer understands. Training will be provided. We service patients in the hospital, home, and facility setting. You choose what setting you would prefer. I never send a volunteer more then 30 minutes away from where they would be leaving to make their visits. Open communication is key, and I look forward to making this an experience you are bond to take something personal away from it.
We have Birthday Delivery Volunteers, as well as Office Volunteers if meeting with an assigned patient is not what you may be looking for.
Pre-application/registration is necessary and lo ng term volunteers preferred.
