Glen Ellyn Historical Society's Pioneer Days

We are looking for volunteers to help with this years Pioneer Days. It is an annual celebration of Glen Ellyn's early settlers, and teaches how life in Glen Ellyn was like in the mid 1800's. Stacy's Tavern Museum will be open for self guided tours. Life skills from the mid 1800's are demonstrated and/participants can participate in. We will set up an outdoor classroom, a blacksmithing demonstration, pioneer games and activities for families to enjoy. There is no charge for people attending this year’s event.
