This volunteer opportunity comes with 1 free ticket to a "Country Musical Salute to Veterans" on 11/11/17 in Elmhurst, IL - so volunteer with a friend! The job entails greeting and welcoming attendees to the event and directing to the various activities: Ticket Sales or Will Call Tables, Program and Badges Tables, Silent Auction area, Concert area, coat room and bathroom areas, Food/Drink Ticket Sales area and answer any questions regarding the timing of the evenings events.
You will be on-site at the concert location at 4:30pm for instructions. The doors open at 5:30pm. The show begins at 7:00pm. Your Greeting and Welcoming services will be needed until approximately 8:00 pm. Then you will be able to sit and enjoy the remainder of the concert - include Darryl and Andrew's performances - in great seats! Business casual attire required.
The event features Nashville recording artist Darryl Worley, a great supporter of our military families and well known for his post 9-11 hit song "Have you Forgotten?". Special guest Andrew Salgado, a Chicago native and Nashville based recording artist and singer/songwriter, performing songs from his album "Absolutely Everything". The concert will be held in Elmhurst, at Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church, 149 W. Brush Hill Rd., Elmhurst, IL. 60126.
