Position Description:
Do you enjoy engaging with your local community and making a positive impact? We are seeking dedicated Community Crew Volunteers to join our team and help us connect with local businesses, share our information, and, when appropriate, request support for our fundraising initiatives. Your role will be to create valuable connections and facilitate the exchange of information and support between our organization and local businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit local businesses to introduce our organization and its mission.
- Distribute fliers, brochures, and promotional materials.
- Explain our upcoming events & fundraisers and how local businesses can get involved.
- Politely request support, such as hanging up fliers, providing in-kind donations, or becoming sponsors for our events.
- Document interactions and business contact information for future follow-up.
- Help find us community events to participate in!
